Howaboutapickanickbasket?

Pete's parents live just down the street from a Jellystone Park. Growing up, my family spent a few weeks each summer at Slippery Rock Campground in Slippery Rock, PA. Slippery Rock, in a former life, was a Jellystone Park, which means that somewhere in between the 1200+ campsites, there was a giant Yogi statue. I could swear that the Yogi statue at Slippery Rock was W-A-Y bigger than this one, but Pete and his mom keep telling me it's just because I was smaller.

It was at your house that I was discussing my love of Yogi Bear, wasn't it? I do love him. And Boo Boo. And the whole gang. I'm a dork.

If I remember correctly there were often picnic baskets with the Yogi's but they seemed to disappear in the night, so were sometimes filled with cement if recovered or just never reinstalled. There were some good times at the Jellystone parks, or Slippery Rock Campground. Mom
