Leyre, Amy, Will and I headed out to the South End Open Market. The market is held in the parking lot of a cluster of buildings that used to be a factory or warehouse or something. Most of them are now serving some other purpose (health club, restaurant, offices), but this one just sits, decaying and used for parking. I loved the light coming through the broken out windows and that streak of light coming through a hole in the roof. I love the shadow leading up to that door, where a staircase used to be. I love the cooing of the doves that are sitting above you on the i-beams.
I need to go back here and take a lot more photos.
