My new 50mm lens was delivered today, woohoo! The top picture was taken with the kit lens I got with my camera, the bottom picture was taken with the new lens. I can't wait to really see what it can do this weekend! Click it to view it large if you really want to see the difference.
And in case you're wondering - those are my grandma knick knacks! The cow & bucket creamer and sugar set belonged to Grandma, and the Pinocchio bottle opener belonged to Nonna. They hang out on the ledge between the kitchen and the living room.

Yup, I'm loving it and I've hardly even used it. I can't wait for the weekend so I can ignore my school work and spend some time with it!
